The year was 2030 when everything went to shit. People in a panicked riot, Screaming, Blood flooded streets, Corpses being violently eaten by cannibalistic monsters.
Fortunately, the military had been preparing for this. When the breakout happened they pulled together the best soldiers; Cops, FBI, Army, ECT, and gave them jobs. Most were ordered to stay behind and protect the people. Others were sent away in the beginning, charged with running different safe houses scattered across the country.
The soldiers rescued who they could, bringing them to the safety of the designated bunkers. But of course, they couldn't rescue everyone. And those who felt abandoned hated those privileged enough to live in safety and peace.
A young soldier, Tyler Evans, was among those selected to lead a safehouse. He was ordered to be in charge of a large hotel in the country right outside of a large city. He struggles with juggling all his responsibilities; Finding supplies and saving survivors, keeping everyone in check, and hiding his new secret.
One day, while out on a patrol around the nearby city, he discovers a young woman being attacked on the side of the road. Tyler rescues her and escorts the woman to safety.
While she seems to be very kind and helpful, feeling gratitude towards the man who saved her and trying to get close to him, Tyler still finds her oddly suspicious.

"Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . note: this was written by my thirteen year old self highest -- #177 in Science Fiction // From Awkward Stars: "Idiots, how did we loose a sixteen year old in a glass room?!" a voice silences them all. I slip out of my corner and into the now empty hallway, shutting the doors behind me. I race as fast as I can away from that interrogation room and tears stream down my face. I've tried so hard to be good. I've tried so hard to fit in. What have I done to deserve this? Lost in thought, I can't look where I'm going. My face connects with a human-feeling thing. "Emma?" Tyler asks and states. I look up into his cold eyes. "You?" I push past him, slamming my shoulder on his. Pain spikes through me, but all I can think about is getting out of here. There are black dots in my vision. I hear yells and calls after me, but they are faded. I burst through the first door I find. A mob of people await me, but they aren't about to arrest me. Escaping Kidnappers
Brianna and her best friend, Aubrey, were walking home from a football match when suddenly two men came out from the bushes with masks. Aubrey was paralyzed with fright but Brianna was completely calm. "Look what we've got here." the tall and muscular man said. Brianna could see the gun which was visibly showing on his side. "This can go the easy way, or the hard way." the other said and Aubrey let out a whimper. Brianna dropped her bag and then addressed the idiots who stood in front of her. They were taken aback by her demeanor as any other person in a situation like this would be in fright, like Aubrey who was too scared to even blink her eye. "No, you listen. This can go the easy way and we won't call the police or the hard way, with you being in a prison cell with a ton of gay men." she said boldly. Brianna suddenly received a hard slap to her face which caused her to stumble and see black spots and two guns now pointed at them. Aubrey let out a scream which was quickly muffled by the other man, who seemed younger than the one who had hit Brianna. Brianna's face was red now, but not from the slap, rather from the anger which was building up from the fact that these amateur men were about to either rob or kidnap them. Suddenly, a white van appeared and before either of the girls could run, they were grabbed and thrown into the van, with the two men shutting the door and the van screeching off into the night. __________ Read to find out what happens.Complete

I never thought my life would be like this; trapped in a dark room and scared for my life. A blindfold was wrapped around my head, covering my eyes, making me completely blind and on high alert. My breathing was ragged and I could smell the mold that was most likely covering most of the room. My hands were tied behind my back, my feet tied together and I was sitting on the floor, propped up against a wall. I heard a slight shuffling across the room that was coming closer to me. I tried my hardest to keep my breathing under control to seem confident and fearless, but in reality, I was shitting my pants and squealing like a scared little girl on the inside. To say I was terrified was a drastic understatement. I was petrified, shaking with fear, but they were not going to know that. "Who are you?!" I demanded. If I was going to die, it would be with the name of my kidnapper. A voice boomed closely to me, "Well, if I told you that, this wouldn't be any fun." **************** Skylar James, a 24 year old girl, is kidnapped by a very well known gang who has a vendetta against her family. In an attempt to find light in her situation, she makes friends with one of the members. Logan Grant was forced into the gang at the young age of 16. He was abused until he became emotionless and ruthless, so that one day, he could rule the gang. Everything was going smoothly until Skylar is brought in. With a blindfold wrapped around her head, he instantly feels bad for her, though he cannot show it. Afraid of getting caught, he shows no emotion while others are around.
