In which Henry Hart falls for his boss's niece, the only girl who wants nothing to do with him.

Melanie Newman was tormented by the death of her mother, turning to violence to escape the grief that she was drowning in. She no longer held back what she thought for the sake of others, nor did she care about not getting into fights. She craved the fights in fact, the thrill the adrenaline brought her. But her father couldn't stand it, unsure of what do, he sent her to Swellview to live with her uncle, hoping a break from everything would help.

Life in Swellview wasn't terrible, except for the fact that her uncle's dorky employee wouldn't get the hint that she wanted to be left alone. However, the longer she spent in Swellview, the more she realized that her uncle was hiding something, something Melanie would find out. Yet, he wasn't the only one with something going on, something is hiding in Melanie, something that comes out to play while she's there. Maybe, she's more like her uncle than she thought.
