Muriel was living the blandest life one could wish for. Her typical day consisted of school, chores, sleep and nothing more. Muriel knew she was just average; nothing special. No cool talents, no drama in her life, she wasn't popular, and the days went by as uneventful blurs. Just as she thought she could die from all the boredom, an opportunity rises, where she meets the people she was dreaming for as a child. Will Muriel survive the adventures through middle school, guys, bending, and a 100-year war? Will Muriel survive the thrill of her new life; her double life?

As a young teen writer, this is my first ever fanfiction, and I hope you guys enjoy reading it! I do not own any of the characters, or ideas from either Avatar the Last Airbender or the Legend of Korra. You may also find hints of ideas used from One Direction, Martin Mystery, and Slugterra, since all five of these are my greatest childhood fandoms  :D
All I own is Muriel, Muriel's friends, Gabriel, Gabriel's friends, Artemis, her mother, and her teachers so far.

Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. Although peace has been achived for some time now. Theres no doubt others would perfer to be at war. And when unbalance comes knocking. The avatar must awnser. But just like peace of nations can be broken into bitter rivalry. So can familys. And when both is disturbed. Can the avatar balance both. Or will one or the other, maybe both... slip? New chapter whenever really. Usually a week. Sometimes two a week, sometimes one every other week. Chapters usually very in size. From 2000-4500 words usually. Some special chapters can be about 8000 or more. I never stop updating the chapters. So dont worry if a chapter takes too long. I wont quit this project. And if I do I will let you know swiftly. In this story Hiei is the grandson of Fire Lord Zuko and son of Izumi who is the new Fire Lord and his father was also an Airbender besides Avatar Aang. The day Hiei was born he had the Firebender spark in his eyes, much like his older brother Iroh. Hiei and Iroh would go onto train in Firebending by their grandfather Zuko. Hiei was considered a prodigy in Firebending at a young age being able to produce blue flames like his relative Azula. When Hiei was fifteen he produced air like his father, but as his father died when he was ten. Hiei couldn't learn Airbending from him so his grandfather called on someone to help. Zuko called Aang's youngest son Tenzin to help teach Hiei how to be an Airbender. Hiei moved to Republic City to learn from Tenzin on Air Temple Island. While living in Republic City he would meet two orphan brother's named Mako and Bolin, after becoming best friends with the two they decide to enter the Pro-Bending League. One day Hiei would meet a Water Tribe girl named Korra, he'd come to learn that she was the new Avatar. The two along with Mako, Bolin and their new friend Asami would form the new Team Avatar to protect the world from new threats.
