She had been found guilty of murder, and was sentenced to life in prison. After accepting a contract to venture through "the Blacksite" in search of an anomalous crystal, Tessa's life changed in ways she could never imagine. WARNINGS: This fic starts off pretty tame, but there is mild gore and heavy swearing. Later on, around chapter 10, things start to get heavier in terms of gore and violence. There is also some pretty heavy smut. The characters are both consenting adults! :)

After a mysterious lockdown of the Hadal Blacksite, Urbanshade dispatches its first group of "expendables," convicts of a high-security prison sent to retrieve a crystal to be pardoned.
