Emma grew up on the heavier side of the scale, bringing constant depression, bullying, and anxiety. Most of her problems circulated around one kid, Reid Walters, who she had feelings for at first, luckily though, he moved away allowing Emma to finally focus on herself, and she did. Starting ninth grade she lost tons of weight, and by 10th grade she was unrecognizable, she easily made her way into the popular crowd, even if they were all fake.

Life is finally good, Emma is happy, she's starting her 11th grade year easily concealing her "minor" eating disorder and anxiety, but what will happen when her worst fear comes back? When he picks her out of the crowd. When he makes it his life's mission to put her back where she belongs?

Reid, smart, popular, goodlooking. He's a hot shot at school, well until his parents decide to relocate him to Florida with his grandparents for a couple months to work on their marriage. But a couple months turn into 3 years and finally Reid is coming back to South Carolina where everyone awaits his arrival, they just don't know it yet.

What Reid doesnt expect is the girl he used to bully to look completely different. Almost his type, but he still remembers her before he left, helpless. He liked that Emma. Did everyone else somehow forget that Emma they all bullied? Well, Reid was here to remind them. And to make the most of his last two years here.
