Bound by Desire

Mara and Cain have been friends since the 5th grade. Mara was an innocent little girl who was always kind and friendly to everyone. Although she was only ever close to one person in her entire life. Cain was held back a year which led to his meeting of Mara. They soon became best friends; Mara became like a little sister to Cain. He was her protector but little did he know that she saw him in a different light. As they got older they slowly grew apart eventually losing contact all together after high-school. Cain moved away and went to college and had some girlfriends but nothing ever seemed to last. Mara however didn't go to college, she got a job and moved into a little cozy house just outside of her hometown. Mara never forgot about Cain; he was her first love and her first rejection ever since then she has never thought about another man. She lived a simple and peaceful life or so it would seem. Would Mara's obsession with her first love consume her? How would she handle meeting him face to face again after he all but forgot about her? Will he find out about her secret hobbies? About the darkness that she so desperately tries to hide?
