But what can she do when he has lost every memory of her? Because of my timeline, in this story Grace only serves around 15 years total. Also a disclaimer that this is not very historically accurate and Im not rly going for realistic lol This starts years after the end of the netflix series because it broke my heart the way it concluded. I know there is some discourse on whether their relationship is romanticized obsession or real love but either way I like the passion that their "romance" has because to me it is a love story whether it fits the normal standard or not. The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol.
