It's been almost 5 or so months since Johnny and dally died. It was so hard to watch my boyfriend and best friend lay in those caskets... Johnny was my first love, even if I was only just turning 14, I truly loved him. He was the best thing that ever happened to me. I'd always had to stay home when the gang went out because Darry said I wasn't old enough. Johnny would come and hang out with me and we always had a blast! I never had girl friends or anyone really besides the gang, Darry, Sodapop, Johnny, Two-Bit, Dally, and Steve. When I was younger, my brothers, Darry and Soda, would go out and party and I would stay home with my parents. I was really close to my parents. My mom would teach me how to cook, and my dad taught me how to play the guitar! After they died, I wasn't ever able to pick up that guitar again, it hurt to much... (A/N it is written in Melanie Curtis' point of view. She is Darry and Soda's younger sister, a girl version of Ponyboy.)
