This fic is a continuation of ending one: Table for one. Rody goes back to work at the Bistro, because well he needs the job, to fix up his place (and also most likely mental state). Over the time he's back, he and Vince form more of a closer bond. In the end they get together YIPPIEEEE (I won't hit you with angst in this one I'm not THAT mean(I'll put it in a diff fanfic)) Also since I'm again THAT nice, I'm gonna let Manon live(but in the hospital😋)

Rody goes back to working for Vince after Manon never answered him, he still needed the job after all. He slowly forms a friendship with Vince, and eventually tells him his favorite food. Which gives Vince the perfect idea for what he can cook for Rody. (Past chapter 31 is all bonus chapters.) [Dead Plate Fanfic Post-Ending One. This has a lot of angst, and does not have a happy ending. However, I plan to make another fanfic of these two later, that does end happily. I also plan to make a fanfic of Cold Front, a game made by the same creator as Dead Plate]

"Chasing petty romances isn't the end-all be-all in life." Vincent was not a man who could easily be swindled with anything, especially not love. Love is not something he wishes to bother with. He already had everything he could've wanted. Fame as a chef, a world-renowned restaurant of his own, and a nice apartment on top of said restaurant. What more could he ask for? Well, it was possibly the attention of the stupid little brunet waiter that worked for him, and he didn't even know it yet. (Dead Plate, but what if Vincent was normal and didn't have psychopathic tendencies)

She was gone. Rody found it hard to believe. She was the one he thought he was waiting for all his life, and she was also the one who left too quickly. This couldn't be how it would end... yet it all added up- how she was always "busy," how she never contacted him, how she never answered. Manon was gone, and she was the love of his life... or so he thought. When Rody asked for the position of the waiter again, Vincent wasn't hesitant at all to accept. Rody visibly wasn't the same- and Vincent knew all too well that this was his fault. Vincent offers his condolences and becomes closer to Rody, and the waiter takes on a rediscovery trail. Rody and Vincent develop a close friendship, but soon enough, both of them start to question their feelings towards each other.
