"I've dreamed of this," Alexius admitted, his serious demeanour softening. "Of having you by my side, not as a dream, but real and alive."
Orphe, the dragon he once knew, wrapped his arms around the knight's neck planting a chaste kiss on a delicate skin there. "I'm here now," he said, his voice trembling with emotion. "And I won't ever leave you."
Their lips met in a tentative kiss, the first taste of a passion long suppressed. Alexius deepened the kiss, feeling Orphe's body respond to his touch, as their bodies pressed harder together.
As they pulled away, Alexius looked into those mesmerizing golden eyes and knew, without a doubt, that their bond was unbreakable. It was a moment of pure connection, as they stared into their eyes with admiration.
"We'll face whatever comes together," he vowed. "Because you're my partner, my heart."
