Alaia Finley has always lived in the safe, wealthy bubble her parents created.
Her neighbor, Benedict Grace aka Ben, couldn't be more different.
He's part of the city's most feared group, known for causing trouble.
Even though they've lived next to each other for years, they've never spoken- Ben's world is too dangerous, and Alaia's parents keep her far away from it.

One night, tired of her sheltered life, Alaia sneaks out to a wild underground race party, looking for excitement.
There, she unexpectedly runs into Ben.
Seeing she's out of her depth, Ben steps in to protect her, keeping her safe as she starts to get drunk and the night gets out of control.

What follows is a complicated mix of anger, attraction, and unexpected feelings.
As they spend more time together, Alaia and Ben find themselves drawn to each other, even though their lives are so different.
They argue, they push each other away, but they also can't deny the connection growing between them.

As Alaia and Ben navigate their confusing emotions, they have to decide if they can overcome the obstacles between them or if their differences are just too great.
