Before The World Knew Our Story
They saw each other before anyone else did. Before the noise, before the chaos, before love had a name. Two souls who weren't supposed to meet.. yet somehow always did. From quiet late-night calls to stadium lights and storms, they learned how love can be both a home and a battlefield. My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. Love, loss, pain, regret, humor, irony, word play, and even sarcasm are as much apart of my life as they are central to my poems here. I am Thresheld. UPDATE: It's been quite a few years since I started this book, and it has become rather prolific. I am currently working on organizing my poetry to make it easy to navigate. For now I've posted my recommendations and a few favorite shorts. Feel free to check out anything here there is no order you need to read in and there isn't any separation of emotional content so who knows what you might get. Autumn - In Love With My Boss (An Office Romance)| Completed
My life should be great. I have an amazing job with one of the biggest event management companies around, and I have a wonderful boyfriend. Oh wait, did I say "wonderful"? I meant "cheating". And my job used to be amazing until I got a new boss. Now, it's only awkward. Why? Well, I fancy him a little, nothing serious, though. Okay, that is a lie, too. It is a full-blown crush. To him, however, I'm invisible. He doesn't even remember my name, even though I'm his personal assistant. Could it get any worse? Yes. Thanks to the bottle of wine I decide to down out of pure frustration on one of those many lonely nights in my apartment, while my boyfriend is out cheating on me. Please, don't blame me. Wouldn't you do the same? I'm sure you would. Okay, but I guess you wouldn't make that incredibly stupid mistake that I'm about to make. Note: Mature content. He has been controlled by someone else all his life, when he finally escaped that habit and took a break in a little town in the US, things don't go as lean as he would have expected, because he meets her. Two souls in need for repair, find each other to destroy one another more before finally having to make a decision, is it worthy? If they let their emotions take the wheel, they'd be far gone, but God created us with a brain, a brain that gives us reasons to hold back and not cave into the unknown. Will they cave though? Broken
I always thought that love would be constantly happy. That someone would write me love songs and stupid poems and everything they did would make my heart flutter. I thought that there was always one person you could depend on no matter what to be there for you. Someone who still cared for you despite all your flaws. Someone who could see the best and the worst of you and still think you were the greatest person in the entire world. Love...... The word tasted weird on my tongue Love makes a person stupid. Believe me when I say Love is blind, because I've been there before ***** "I don't know what I'll do without you.
