Sora is 14 years old and the 4th child of Simba and Nala. Other than his parents and siblings, no one knows him. While his parents are considered the saviors of the Pride Lands, his eldest brother is the future king, his sister is happily married, an his other brother was leader of the Lion Guard and is now King of the Tree of Life, from his perspective he is nothing. Only the 4th born who will never play a role. In addition,  the rift with his own family bothers him. But what would happen if Sora's destiny was waiting for him somewher? Imran changed too much for Ceres to even recognize him. To Ceres, he acts strangely, seemingly afraid of everything, physical contact makes him flinch, he doesn't like to have conversations for too long, everything about Imran is a complete mystery to Ceres. Despite that, Ceres still tries to understand him. That attempt to understand Imran comes with a price however as he learns the truth about why his friend changed and the extent to Imran's abilities, along with how much power he holds. This journey isn't just shared by the two boy's but by others as well. The journey also belongs to Islanders named Sora, Riku, Kairi, Lake, Sarah, Azure, Malory and Ivone. Lake, Sarah and Azure are friends drifted apart by the past. While Lake refuses to talk about the past, Sarah and Azure push to at least bring up parts, despite Lake's persistence to make them stop. Lake's own memories are stirred however when her group runs into a girl by the name of Valley, Lake's sister. Ceres and his allies have to deal with Maleficent while also dealing with her son and Riku's betrayal, all while trying to save Kairi, may this journey be a safe one...or not.
