If there is one word that had always been in Kentley's vocabulary, it's "danger".
From the moment he was born, he had been into so many life-threatening situations. People would often call him "unlucky", but he likes to believe it's just destiny's way of teaching him life lessons he needs to learn before he can meet the man of his dreams-the one who's going to be his "lucky charm".
The one who'll protect him from harm.
But he has to live long enough to at least meet him. And so, to protect himself from these seemingly frequent strikes of misfortune, and to prepare himself for any danger that may come his way while that man hadn't come knocking at his door yet, he decided to become a doctor.
What he hadn't prepared himself for was the possibility of destiny playing a joke on him.
On one rainy night, when he met a man in danger-bloody and on the verge of death, his dedication to his line of work got himself involved with him. And little did he know, he also got himself involved with what he so badly wanted to avoid.
Because the man, Rossler, smelled "danger" to him-to his heart, even more so.
Will his sharpened senses towards perilous events let him be able to survive the dangers that are coming his way? Or will he just ignore the perils in his scent and give in to danger itself?
