TWO/THREE WEEKS

At a wedding, two strangers Alex and Emily meet by chance. Alex is a friend of the bride, while Emily is a friend of the groom.

Their playful banter throughout the evening leads to a series of accidental encounters, with both jokingly accusing the other of stalking. As the night unfolds, they share drinks and laughter, eventually ending up in bed together.

The next morning, they wake up in each other's arms, their memories hazy. Panic sets in when Emily realizes she might be pregnant. She flew from Michigan to California for the wedding, and the implications of an unplanned pregnancy weigh heavily on her mind.

Alex, calm and pragmatic, suggests they visit a clinic to discuss their options.

At the clinic, the doctor explains that conception is still uncertain, even though sperm can survive up to 72 hours. They'll need to wait 2-3 weeks for a conclusive test. Emily, however, keeps a secret: her return flight is scheduled for Sunday.

To be safe, Alex proposes they spend time together getting to know each other while keeping their situation private.

Will their brief encounter lead to something more, or will it remain a beautiful yet fleeting memory?
