The Imminent One has not been heard from since the shattering of the world. His Tower rose into the sky, capturing the sun and cracking the land into eight continents. The people seem to have been left to themselves.

This is a world much like ours, with friends, families, and enemies, adventures and consequences. But there are some who inherit gifts-abilities, strengths, curses-with no explanation.
