Paul pulled his hood tighter around his face as he weaved through the narrow, dimly lit streets of the city. The sun had long dipped below the horizon, leaving only the faint glow of old, flickering street lamps to guide his way. Shadows danced along the brick walls, and the occasional sound of dripping water echoed through the silence. Paul wasn't supposed to be out this late, but tonight, something had drawn him out into the darkness-a feeling he couldn't shake, like something was waiting for him in the alleys.
