12 rulers, all powerful in their own empires, but at the mercy of monsters they unwittingly made. For how can you defend against something that used to be a part of you?

Tensions between the empires are getting worse. Borders are closing and empires are mistrustful of their neighbors. To everyone, it seems as if the fragile peace won't hold for much longer.

But when a dark threat appears, hunting down the emperors and causing mayhem as it pleases, everything must be put aside to protect the people, for the good of all empires.

Will they be able to unite and save the continent from what they created? Or is the world doomed to fall in fire and darkness?

Note: This is a semi-original story inspired heavily by Empires SMP, so please don't accuse me of plagiarism, I acknowledge that the storyline is based off of a previously created series but the characters and worldbuilding are all mine

I am a huge fan of the Empires SMP, and I wanted to write my own fanfiction story that takes place in that world. This story takes place after the End Dragon War, and after Joey Graceffa, the Lost Empire ruler who is in love with the server's demon, Xornoth, had worn the given Crown that made his eyes red and made him more bloodthirsty than ever (Episode 17 - Xornoth Gave Me A Gift!) Some of these won't make sense if you are not following the series' entire encompassing storyline, and are not interested in the lore.
