A Rose for Johnny - Soap x Rose

Rose Campbell is a Scottish girl filled with passion, love, and sunshine. She lives to make others happy, cozy, loved and often forgetting her own needs. Recently, she opened a cozy café in memory of her mother. When her mother fell ill and suffered from sore throats, Rose began making teas to soothe her, sparking the inspiration to open her own café. Despite her café's success, Rose's heart still aches from a painful breakup, leading her to swear off love. Though she secretly longs for it, she's locked away her heart, convinced that no one will ever find the key. John MacTavish, known as Soap, is a member of Task Force 141. Despite his father's strong disapproval, fueled by the loss of his older brother Gary in action and his father's own experiences with the horrors of war, Soap felt a calling to serve. Smart and capable, his father always believed Soap was destined for something other than the military. Not only does his father not approval of his career, his father has not been a great dad to Soap whatsoever. Growing up Soap was always putting up with his father's anger. But Soap still pursued his path, becoming a sniper and explosives expert, earning his nickname 'Soap' for his ability to clean out a room swiftly. However, during a mission, his luck ran out, resulting in a severe leg injury that forced him on leave under Captain Price's orders. Now, Soap must return to Scotland, dreading his father's judgment and the inevitable "I told you so." Yet, what he doesn't realize is that this homecoming will lead him to the key that will change his life forever.
