September 11th a high jacker doubts his mission. A fireman struggles to save his fiancé. A teenage boy loses him mind to radical Christianity. And a Lit professor prepares to start a college shooting.

The only way to describe September 11th is through the long and arduous threads of life. Lives of others. Many. Changing. Folding together. Making. Interconnecting. Transposing our demise to our requiem. Forming on song, one tragedy, one day for our befallen. United, burnt, and broken. The smoke of our breaking made a momentous struggle a timeless sacrifice.

She is dating the human soul of United Airlines Flight 175, a young man who is a very good...PILOT?! He loves her as much as she loves him, which is a lot. Nothing can go wrong for her, especially when she signs with a hockey team ten years after she played her last professional game. Mohammed. He is an ice hockey player who has moved from Saudi Arabia to the United Arab Emirates to Omaha, Nebraska, and finally to New York City. As he tries to adjust to life in his fourth home, he worries that he won't be allowed to play his sport in Manhattan. She earned her old job back in 2003. Working at the Pentagon is still her passion. She works with her sister, and her twin brother works in the new 7 WTC in New York.
