**The Girl Who Felt The World** a memoir, follows Maddy's tumultuous journey from the ages of nineteen to twenty-three, starting right after she leaves a psychiatric ward and enters a group home for young adults with mental health issues. Maddy tries to set her life on a better path but soon finds herself slipping back into old habits, like smoking pot with her new roommates.

What begins as youthful rebellion quickly spirals out of control as Maddy forms complicated relationships with those around her - starting with a sexual fling with Gee, another resident, and evolving into a dangerous entanglement with older men like Simon, a drug dealer, and Brett, a troubled addict.

Maddy's choices lead her deeper into a world of addiction, abuse, and homelessness. Yet, when she discovers she's pregnant, she fights desperately to change for her unborn son and herself. But can Maddy overcome her past, or will her struggles consume her before she gets the chance?
