If you like my stories I'd be forever grateful if you can comment on them with your thoughts. Nothing brings me greater pleasure than reading the comments my stories get. It makes me happy and gives me the motivation to keep on writing and produce more stories for you all to enjoy. Your support through your comments is my strength to keep on going. I thrive on seeing the wonderful comments my stories get and they always brighten a rather dreary day.

Please also understand that I am an inexperienced writer. I never took lessons or even did well in school. I never did college either. I self taught myself to write and I know I still need a lot of work but I'm happy with were I am at now and don't want to stress over it. It was a lot of hard work, tears and energy to get where I am now and I many times I wanted to give up and even now I still have times where I feel like I'm a failure of a writer and just want to stop. I know I'll never write like those talented writers or be able to paint a picture with my words but I am doing the best with what I can do and I put all my energy and feelings into my stories. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I've lost sleep or spent days crying over my writing and even started to hate it and yet I'm still here... I'm a writer who needs encouragement and support. That's why I value comments on my stories so much. It helps build my confidence and picks me up so I can keep on going.

Choosing Jada [Book 2] by KindaWerid
17 parts Ongoing Mature
A dead woman walking would make anyone do a double take. She never thought she would see him again. He never thought she could have survived. More questions left than answers Jada and Alessio must finally work together. Nothing was right in the world without Jada in it and now nothing was right with her in it either. Book Excerpt: "Where are you trying to take me? You snagged us up, but where are we going," She asked pointedly. "To my grandparent's home." "That's a terrible idea. We need a safe place to go, not somewhere so obvious." "My grandfather knows important people. Trust me, he's the safest place in Italy we could be." "No, I won't just blindly follow your lead. I won't risk my sons life on something like that." "And where would you go? How would you be any safer? If it wasn't for me, our son would be long gone. You have no resources. You have nothing. Somehow, I am the bad guy!" "Yes you're the fucking bad guy, you can't trip me into marriage and then putting me through hell as I tried my best to survive. You're the bad guy because I never agree to be with a criminal master mind or whatever you do. I have no idea. I don't know anything about you. I was cheated on and lied to just as much. Don't go blaming your hurt feelings all on me. You started this. You are the reason. I'm finally reacting to the way you treated me! I was delusional, scared, and confused. You isolated me from my people. I wasn't okay. I've been ripped from the life I knew!" [In Progress 4/19/24- ] Rankings #118 Man #44 deathandlife #5 lovetragedy
The Standouts - A Critique Contest by PAULAPDX (Summer 2019 Edition) by paulapdx

🛑 - CLOSED until 2021. ***If you're interested in my critiques, you might want to check out my weekly newsletter for opportunities to get a personalized critique. https://paula.substack.com/p/coming-soon Does your work stand out in an overly-crowded landscape? Does your story & writing shine as far as: ★ - Concept ★ - Voice ★ - Storytelling The Standouts is a fun, but hopefully helpful contest that can give you a sense of whether your story resonates with someone who's got some experience under her belt. Great! But who are you to judge? Fair question. This is not to humble-brag, but I've been critiquing and have worked with story development for quite some time, and I've picked up a lot along the way. ☙ - As an Ambassador, I work on content projects. ☙ - If you look at my profile, you'll see everything I've published so far has managed to standout in one way or another, whether by leading me to become a Wattpad Star; or by winning a Watty (twice!); or by being picked as a Top 10 in major Wattpad contests (twice!); or being featured. All I'm saying is I'm no slouch. I'm not brilliant either. But I've got some experience around what can catch an agent, editor, or judge's eye, and I'd like to share that with the community. ☙ - In another lifetime, I used to work for HBO in Development and at ICM (the talent agency) in their writers' department which means I understand how professionals quickly gauge whether or not they'll take a closer look at a work and/or make an offer. This kind of insight can be helpful if you're planning to submit your work or even just want to stand out more here on Wattpad. ☙ - I used to provide critiques for three writers, all of them traditionally published. They seemed to value my insight. Read the RULES, LOGISTICS & PRIZES chapter for guidelines. All entries get a brief assessment of their first chapter, with winners getting more extensive critiques. Sound interesting? Give it a go! 😊

With his gorgeous face and sexy Irish lilt, he made my heart pound in a way I'd never experienced before, and I knew I'd never be the same again. Justin: Being signed to a top English club had been my goal since, well, birth. But the move required leaving Ireland behind to start a new life in Liverpool... which would be simple if I didn't have to move my parents and younger brother, Brandon, with me. We'd found him a place in a top special needs school, and I was looking forward to visiting with the rest of the team to check the place out. Of all the things I expected to find there, it definitely wasn't her. All gorgeous smile and mesmerising eyes that made my heart race as if I'd just ran twenty lengths of the pitch.
