Abuse is a strong word, at least that's how Marley Hill would put it. That's all she knew; secrets were kept, lies were told, and everything remained in the realm of her normality. Until he showed up. Plopped on the bus-stop bench next to her sat Tate Holland. His toothy smile and curly blonde locks unraveled Marley's deepest secret and she watched it shatter on the floor. She forced herself to pick up the pieces, trying not to hurt anyone but herself. She didn't want to hurt him, not like she hurt her mother. Or herself.
