Love is a very persistent feeling. It never fades away and gnaws at you day and night. Sometimes, it is nothing short of horror. It sticks with you despite whatever you do. It's scary. But as I look at her, her eyes on the calm, serene water, occasionally staring at the stars, the light wind blowing her hair, a small, peaceful smile gracing her features as she stares at the lake, I know something: love is an unstoppable force.
Because I have grown to love the way she shouts, the way she murmurs, the way her eyes stay fixated on the stars, the way we're both sitting: close to each other, in silence, not touching but desperately wanting to, the way her eyes close whenever a gentle breeze arrives: I am in love.
Something I never thought I would be.
