She's hopeless and defenseless. She was always the strong one making sure everybody was okay and then she cracked. Emory was always the talkative type, the one who laughed at the simplest things, and the one who was happy. After that day, her life turned upside down. She didn't talk anymore, people considered her mute. She transformed into a girl who only communicated by writing on a white board. Her life would never be the same again so what was the point. She thought all of this until she met, well saw, a boy in the park who didn't look at her with sadness or pity because he just didn't know yet.
