Surviving the onslaught in the Dragon Hunting era has always been rough for most, especially those who weren't willing to kill. Fate has been especially vile for a Skrill Rider who's wanted dead or alive in many parts of the archipelago, the deadly stranger having been nicknamed the 'Masked Elk' for her strange attire. The only thing this unforgiving killer has known is suffering, yet she still inflicts that same mind-clawing suffering onto those deserving of it, wishing for them to feel the same pain as what they caused her for so long. The one good thing in her life is the dragon she's known since the young age of seven, a factor that shows this murderer isn't practically a true monster based on the warmth and kindness she shows to that powerful lightning dragon, Locket, the weird-looking Skrill practically a brother to her.
Upon meeting the Dragon Riders and failing to drive them away from their base, Kimora will have to face arising challenges that come with dealing with the nuisances. It'll be up to the Masked Elk to make one of the hardest decisions she may ever face in the end; deliver her swift vengeance to those who wronged her as old bitter faces return, or overcome the shadows of her dark, secretive past. But will she, alongside her loyal Skrill, be able to survive? Or will she have to accept the reluctant help of the Dragon Riders before she gets herself and her dragon killed?
