En un mundo donde los animales antropomórficos  tienen el control de todo y los humanos viven en tribus aislados en una enorme reserva natural. Un grupo de niños humanos descendientes de dicha tribu "indígena" o "nativa"fueron rescatados del tráfico de trata de especies y son adoptados por una casa hogar ya que no hay forma de que regresen a su aldea cruzando la frontera de aquella reserva natural a las afueras de la ciudad de Deko. 

Cuando crecen son ingresados por primera vez a la academia Cherryton High un lugar lleno de rumores, peleas y misterios. Siendo esto un ambiente completamente nuevo para ellos y es que ya no son los típicos problemas controversiales entre carnívoros y herbívoros que asechan en dicho lugar. Estos se han disminuido con el paso del tiempo  y desaparecieron poco a poco de la sociedad trayendo una nueva era donde la mayoría de carnívoros y herbívoros viven en paz juntos en la mayor parte del país, a la vez que se adaptan a una nueva especie que trata de ser agregada a su sociedad.
