When Echo broke free from her abusive family, her Aunt Caroline revealed the family secret to her. The family came from a long line of nobility, their reign ending when Echo's family wanted nothing to do with the duchy.
After Caroline's funeral, Echo got curious. What did Echlia look like? Could she really be nobility, or was Caroline pulling her leg?
When she got to Echlia, she found that someone was already on the throne. Echo didn't really want the throne, so she stepped aside. But when the people found out the true Duchess had returned, they tried to convince her to take her rightful place on the throne back and restore Echlia to its former glory.
Will Echo take her throne back and be the Duchess the people need? Or will she let the tyrant Duke have the throne?
