In the world we live in today, speaking seems to be the only way one knows how to communicate; as if it is the only way to communicate- or is it? There are many unique children, scattered around the world, who are labelled as, "special needs", or "autistic", or ADHD. And these labels usually come with a negative stigma attached to them. But, what if- what if these children were just... different? What if these children are here, to show us a different, and more unique way of living. What if they are not in need, of "special attention"? What if they are just: special. It could be someone else's fault, or purely coincidental. Everyone deals with guilt differently. Some play the victim, using it to play the main character in a story that was never written for them. Some surround themselves with things and people that can turn their mind off for awhile. Others might feel guilty when they weren't even there. They feel like they need to go through something similar or worse to validate their suffering. Others grin and bear it, maybe because they don't have time, or they don't want the time. The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it. Everything is about monetary gain and if you don't got the green you better have a way to survive. Help wont come when you need it. There is no home and having shame is a simple thing of the past. We all tell people to have hope. We tell them that if they work hard enough that change will eventually come and with that change they will find their happy ending. I've watched humans kill for that happy ending. I've committed murder when a tyrant thought to torture the only good thing in this world I have ever found in this fucked up place. Even when I tried to save it, I still lost it. Yeah, you heard right. I am no saint. This world is far from cupcake and t ,rainbows and their isn't not one soul that could tell me different. I have had to fight to survive since the day I lii I broke out of an egg into this world. No one has ever known where I came from and from the moment I got here I've never know any kindness. I have always been the odd one out because I was different. I'm not talking different just because the color of my skin. I'm talking different because when I get well and truly pissed I turn into a vicious monster. I'm not talking a kiddie monster like the one that creeps under your bed while you are sleeping or chooses to hide in your closet. I'm the type that you cant get away from. I travel through space and time. If I want you, I will have you. I have the powers of invisibility on my side, and you will never see me coming. There is no one that can catch me because I can poof away at the drop of a hat. If that doesn't scare you than the thousands of scars on my body and my size definitely will. Belief The strongest thing in the world. It can give someone hope when everything seems lost and a feeling of power when you think that you can fight no more. Belief can make anything stronger, more alive and truer. From belief is how many religious gods got a name, how legends and stories are being formed. It all starts with a name and one believer. The light spreads, from person to person and that name gains power. Slowly, it is more believed in and that name gets a form, then a face and then existence. This is how the fairy tails came to be. How the protectors and the enemies of the children appeared and how they exist up until today. However, just like in every situation, there is a catch. A small area that is not white or black but grey. There, no side can be taken, and no rules apply the same. In the case of fairy tales, you have the light side with the Guardians and the spirits; tasked to protect their children. On the other side, you have the Boogieman and those who want to harm and terrorize the innocent bright souls of young children. And in the middle, in the grey zone, you have a single lonely figure with a task no one else wants, a task that makes them receive hatred and fear instead of admiration and love. And that person carries it without a word of complaint. That person is Thanatos but nowadays, she goes by Grim Reaper...the Guardian of Life and the outcast of the Big Five.Concluída

The Guardians were always there to protect the children after the Dark Ages. They made sure that the children still believed, still felt wonder, hope and dreams in their hearts. For what would happen if every child had nothing but fear? As everyone knows, the Guardians were created to defeat fear. Man in Moon gave the children Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Sandman and the Tooth Fairy, but... he never gave them Halloween. True, Halloween was... a difficult spirit. She may seem innocent at first but you soon find out how many secrets she possesses. Halloween, although insignificant in most people's beliefs, is the most important spirit that could exist. And when that spirit gets taken away, not seen for a decade, people tend to notice the drastic change in their daily lives, especially someone we all know. . . . "We caused the end of the world. Turns out it's easier than you might think it is. All you need is a group of eco anarchists and an ounce of magic, and the world goes down in a poof." After another manic episode, Phoenix gets written off his parents' will, and he's trying to find a reason to keep living. Causing the end of the world and being the only one who can save the world wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.Concluída

Nature offers infinite possibilities to ensure life continues through genetic codes that struggle to survive, unheard and often unnoticed. It is a battle where dominant, aggressive genes best suited to the environment will succeed. Both Ana and Evan have been labelled with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - a genetic disorder, affected by the environment. It is a world wide condition, knowing no boundaries and increasing rapidly. Since disabilities such as ASD are triggered by our changing environment, and since these disabilities are rapidly changing and increasing in frequency, it is entirely possible that the ideal "disability" could give some humans an evolutionary advantage over other humans. ... Imagine having a disability so severe you need 24 hour care. Imagine wanting to leave your home and caregivers to live in the one place you feel at peace.
