There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."

Specter: This is a story I've been working on for awhile. I've seen many people talk about how bad their writing is. This just makes me cringe because they say this when they're just on their first draft. I decided to post the first draft of my story called Specter. This is purely just to give writers and idea what a first draft looks like. A confidence booster. Something to compare your writing to. The best writer never wrote a master piece on the first go. When you read this you'll say, this is good but needs to be worked on more. WARNING CONTAINS: Dead plot points that go nowhere, Cringe worthy dialogue, Characters that are not fleshed out, Weak characters, A rushed ending, A weak villain, Thin plot that has little meat Scenes that make you say, "Srsly?"Complete

He's like a machine. He hates to be touched. He hates anything to be non-sanitized. He can't stand human emotion. He fakes a personality, just to seem okay. He hates technology, but is nothing without it. He's a professor to the class, but supposed to be a student. He teaches the same thing everyday, but was meant to be there only to learn. And then he loses control, unable to be a machine any longer, he begins to realize worshiping technology is nothing but a curse. He holds the life of an introvert, the life of a mad man, and he admits to it. All of it. ~~ "You're useless. Nothing but a controlled soul in a shell of a body." Vampire's Prey
Julia is on the run, fleeing for her life. An army of vampires ravage her country, plundering villages and enslaving their occupants. With the vampire horde closing in, Julia is forced to abandon her home and head south with the hope of reuniting with her brother. There they will build a new farm and live in safety. But one vampire lord has a different plan for her future. He tracks her down and takes her captive. No matter how hopeless her situation, she never gives up, risking her life to regain her freedom. He forces her down, punishing her when her defiant spirit hinders his mission. It soon becomes clear that she's nothing like the human soldiers he's used to dealing with. A sense a guilt begins to grow whenever he upsets the girl who both fears and leans into him for protection. Julia and the vampire lord are connected in ways they had never known. Their lives become entangled, bringing them to make decisions they would've never thought possible. Extract from Chapter 1: He unsheathes his blade, and I suddenly wish that he'd go back to poking me. He's going to cut me while I can't move? To torture me? I start to panic again. "No, no, no." I yank on the restraints, and the rope bites into my skin. I pull and pull and try to shuffle away from him. He presses the blade against my neck, and I freeze. "Fearful," he says. I catch a glimpse of his freakishly long canines. The edge of the blade presses on my skin, just enough not to draw blood.Complete
