Being the middle son of John Winchester and Mary Campbell, Henry was always aware that he wasn't like everyone else, mainly because the only real memories he has is of growing up on the road, learning everything he could about hunting. It wasn't as if his childhood was hell, as while it wasn't normal, he still had a family he would do anything for and he knew it could be worse. The problem with thinking like that, however, is that he was well aware of the fact that he would never have the average life he sometimes wished for. He would never become a doctor, or a firefighter or whatever it was that people wanted to be. He was going to become a hunter. He was going to save people and hunt things, continuing the family legacy. It was always meant to be that way-it was his destiny. He just never realized how right that was until it was too late.
