Year 3441 of the Second Age, I lost everything and I was hidden in a chamber and suspended in time by an ancient magic. Year 2929 of the Third Age, the spell was broken by a wizard, then I found myself in the care of a dwarf who harbored a hatred towards my kind. Year 2941 of the Third Age, my entire world will once again be turned upside down.~ Lessrien Ancalimë is the last High Elf to reside in Middle-Earth, as far as she knows. That changes when she embarks on a quest with her adoptive kin to reclaim their homeland. The bonds with her adoptive family will be tested, but none more so than the one with her adoptive father: Thorin Oakenshield. His disdain towards her kin begins to push her away from him and create doubt within her - that is until people try to separate her from him. That is not the only bond that changes, there is another that has been changing long before the quest started: The bond Lessrien shares with Kili. Not only does their bond change but Lessrien realizes her feelings towards him have changed as well.
