This is a follow up story or Rangers Apprentice, it's the story of the Innkeeper from RA #5 granddaughter 
I can't promise it will be as good as John Flanagan's but please give it a go. Also if you haven't read the original series then that's ok although it will make more sense if u have.

Sequel to the lodge BOOK 2/3 after Sean and Ben record Ms. Weasley they'll do anything they can to get Josh and Samantha out of there and back at the lodge but for all the right reasons I'm not sure

In an insignificant corner of Araluen sits an inn run by a man named Samuel. After the war against Morgarath he returned home only to find a wreck of what he once had. Disheartened by the turn of events far from in his favor, he must learn how to get by. When a Ranger visits his life is turned upside-down. Suddenly he's caught in the middle of action when all he wanted was peace and quiet, his humble village in danger, and only he can save it. -- Trigger/content warning for a little bit of blood/gore and self-sacrificial feelings. I didn't go too far with either because I cannot handle gore or want to make you upset, just enough for the plot. If you've read Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice or Brotherband Chronicles (both for tweens and without any TW's that I know of) and been okay, you should be perfectly fine here.

(This is what I call a practise narrative, to test my current quality of writing. It is basically a parallel of anime/manga of The Ancient Magnus Bride but with my own little twist. I don't call this a fanfiction because it by no means seeks to use the names of characters to further or alter the story they are from. As stated, I found the material good practice to harness my own writing skill to. Hope you enjoy)

Book 1 Innana is a blind 17-almost 18- year old, with her sister,zeinah and her father, Ali, as her support. Her mother died so that she may live. How did she become blind? no one knows. When she was seven, a faithful night, she slept off being able to see the would through bright eyes and the next morning everything was as dark as coal. 11years later you'd think she would be used to the idea of being blind but she isn't. One night would change her life. After going to university, a week -2 weeks into the tern her vision started to clear up and to celebrate, her roommate decided to take her out for a drink. Somewhere along the line she looses her roommate and is saved by Vina or so she thinks. Vina tells the young girl she knows her and that she helped her which leaves the girl in a state of confusion. Vina snaps her finger and everything went dark again only then dose Innana realize her ability to see again is not by her power. Vina introduces her self as Savvina Vukasin, a demon but Innana refuses to believe until vina bears her claws and fangs out for Innana. The young girl asked the demon what she wants and the demon tells her in exchange for her ability to see she needs one thing but that's the one thing Innana can't give her. Now all she has to do is give Vina "A yes" and the deal is sealed. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ This is not edited at all. Auto correct is a bitch. Also, my writing is cringey 🙂 cringe at your own risk. Enjoy! Samantha, Josh and Skye were inseparable as children, preteens, and now as teenagers but they do get separated after the death Skye's mom which makes her move out of the city and into the country to the North Star Lodge. Not long after moving Sam and Josh come to visit and Sam decides to stay. Only to fall for her best friends crush and worst enemies boyfriend. Will she stay at the lodge and figure out her years of adolescence or run from her problems... like she did in her past.
