A small town, which you'd assume was western, was actually quite the opposite. The virus began in horseshoe, actually. An interesting little town, where I was born.

Obviously, when a flesh-eating parasitical virus was found, scientists in all their glory decided to study it, which led to the greatest calamity in human history. Warning: This is the original book 1, it is now considered more of a prelude/building character relationships arc than a book. This provides backstory and sets the foundation for the characters and their relationships. The action starts in the new book 1 - Migration. - TW: Gore, Cursing, Death, etc. Not recommended for anyone who can't stomach gore or other zombie stuff or LGBTQ+. Oh, what a wonderful time to be alive! Medical care is better than ever, the number of homeless has dropped dramatically, and war hasn't been sparked for five glorious years. But. Oh, of course there's a but! Did you truly expect this to be a story about a utopia? (Especially seeing how it's written by ME, of all people.) "End Trait" is the name of the virus, given to it by the survivors. The virus was created through a chain of events triggered by an atomic bomb, and much of humanity is gone.Complete

It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep?
