A young man named Everett Harding enlisted into the military. He unknowingly left his with child wife at home.

Eleanor 'Ellie' Bradford-Harding finds out she is expecting nearly a month and a half after her husband leaves for war.

At first, she struggled to find the words to tell her husband, knowing that he wouldn't have left her had he known. However, one night she simply sat down and began writing.
