"It has been said that something as small as a flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon half way across the world." Adelaide O'hara has suffered from stress related blackouts for as long as she can remember. Her blackouts can last anywhere from an hour to weeks at a time, all depending on the traumatic event that caused it. Receiving a journal in the mail she discovers the ability to travel back to the times when the blackouts occur. Finding she can relive the moments prior to, during and after the blackouts she begins to change things in her past, altering the future. As her future changes she meets different people such as Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and finally Liam Payne. Unsatisfied with how each senario plays out she changes once more only to find a more shocking future than she could imagine possible.
