Wren's labyrinth

In a world where there are magical beasts like wyverns and Wrens species the Truth'Seekers and sub-species Lie'Seekers here is a short ish description:

Truth'Seekers are humanoid creatures with tails which like most mammals have a thin layer of fur coating their skin and longer fur on their heads imitating hair, any part of them can be any colour e.g teeth or nails.
Their legs bend back like a birds with large talons.
They don't have necks (please don't ask I beg) and a large eye on their chest that for Truth'Seekers when they are in a high emotional state will tell them if something or someone is telling them the truth.
For Lie'Seekers which are a much rarer sub-species (1-4 a generation)
Their Seeking eye constantly speaks to them telling them if something or someone is going to lie even before they have finished a sentence.
(Lie'Seekers can have multiple arms or tails).

Anyway back to the plot.
Wren is just a normal Truth'Seeker or so he thought, when a danger drives him away from his home and into the arms of danger he has to learn to adapt and live which is easier said than done.
There is a key to end it all hiding in the forest but something ancient guards it and only with the help of someone who despises him can help him get to it.
