soulmate ˈsəʊlmeɪt/ noun a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. ~ Jughead and Archie were as close as two friends could be before Betty had come into the picture, testing the boundaries of their friendship and changing the way they viewed each other. Then later, with Jughead's relationship with Betty on the rocks Jughead begins to doubt his happiness with the girl that was once his everything. To add to Jughead's confusion when he's around Archie he feels all the tell tale signs of being in love. A racing heart- blush on his cheeks- but there's something else, something very unusual. The veins in his hands light up like lightning in a storm. He was aware of Archie's feelings for him but Jughead worried that if he told Archie about his glowing veins that he would leave his life forever. But that's not the only problem that these boys are about to face. A much larger one just rolled into town, and it could cost them their lives. (Based off a tumblr post that we saw) COMPLETED

He was an odd boy to try and get to know. He talked in absolutes, specifically in old English, barely ate, and the only things he seemed to love was Seattle, books, words, and the rain. Archie, on the other hand, was the son of Fred Andrews, the nameless boy's social worker. He was adventurous, different, and to the boy's surprise, cute. Archie was probably the first person the boy had ever come across that stared at him with such neutrality as he did regularly. The boy found that intriguing. They were the epitome of the perfect couple, and everyone couldn't help but believe that Archie and Betty, young though they were, would someday end up together. But in this group there was another friend, Jughead Jones, a cynical, sardonic aspiring writer. He didn't always feel like he fit it with Betty and Archie. But somehow, he felt like he belonged with them, though he couldn't place why.

He swallowed hard- nervously, and he was no longer smirking. In a failed attempt at answering me, he pushed me against the wall. _________________ Veronica Lodge was abandoned by her parents at a young age and was forced to live by herself. She yearned for a family and turned to the serpents. Although when the leader of the serpents, Fp, announces he has a son, Veronica's life unravels. Not only that, but his son is no other than Jughead Jones. No one except for Toni and Cheryl know the long ties Veronica and Jughead share. Jughead has changed Veronica, but maybe not for the better. She has a dark yet very vulnerable side, that only Jughead brings out. But there's a certain darkness that Jughead has- unlike any other. And even though it scares the shit out of Veronica, she's determined to know what it is. Correction: what he is.

Betty goes to the drive in with Archie and Veronica and ends up getting more than she bargains for when she meets a bad boy from the southside of town. At first he just seems like your classic cliche bad boy with his leather jacket and combat boots and she gives him some attitude for his over confident attitude until she sees the back of his jacket with the signature snake on it that hes a southside serpent but not just any southside serpent the leader of the southside serpents, Jughead Jones. Betty didn't expect Jughead Jones to take such an interest in a girl as mundane as her and as much as she tries to avoid him he seems to be everywhere she is. When a life changing event happens she finds herself thrown right into the middle of his world she finds him much harder to avoid and to deny her attraction to the original bad boy of Riverdale. Jughead Jones is instantly attracted to the little preppy blonde girl as soon as he meets her with her attitude and fearlessness, he couldn't help but to be intrigued. When she ends up in his world after her own life changing event it becomes obvious the attraction is undeniable and resisting just is impossible. *re-editing because i entered this into the wattys 2018 so just re polishing nothing big will change so feel free to read it. *
