It was no surprise that after Ethan's encounter with the Baker family, he would need protection and training if anything further were to happen. The B.S.A.A took up that task, more specifically Chris Redfield and his team, even after they left the organization. It was business to them, but it was more than just a task to one man in particular, Reed Aspen. He had pulled Ethan out of the mess, he was by his side the minute everything ended, maybe even more so than Chris. He made a promise to Ethan, one neither of them would forget; Reed was going to protect Ethan and his family with his life. Even with their rocky relationship over the years, Reed never broke that promise.

Months after not seeing Ethan though, Chris and the now Hound Wolf squad, is sent to take and protect the family. Only, the members sent to transport Ethan and Rose, mysteriously crash. It left no survivors, other than one, Reed Aspen. It's his mission to once again, locate and save Ethan Winters. No matter the cost.
