This story conveys the journey of an eighteen year old girl named Zoey, who faced a lot of hardships since childhood due to growing up with a mentally unstable parent, that has fortunately almost recovered at present.
Her mom had left her parents for a guy and ended up being betrayed while she was pregnant. The traumas her mom went through resulted in her being mentally unstable.
Even though her past, present and future seem unpromising, Zoey has a significant yet eternal hope that one day life will be worth living.
Zoey's dream is to become a successful criminologist and help the world understand the reason crime, victims and criminals are created.
On the other hand there's a twenty three year old guy who's dad was an alcoholic. He was used to getting beaten up as a daily routine by his own father since childhood until he grew up old enough to defend himself successfully. This guy... He's too broken to have a dream.
Zoey and Arvis both were forced to see the harsh reality of life from an early age...
