It was like any other day in the Sonic Boom universe. Or, it WAS until an unusual portal opened up in front of Amy's house. A silver hedgehog appeared. Amy was going to greet the hedgehog, but then he claimed he was from the future to help defeat a black hedgehog with blue stripes named 'Meliphes'. The most unusual part about it is that he claimed to be her son. What will become of the unusual encounter.

There was a certain police officer after him, that of course is Sonic. Who finds out where one of Shadow's drug factories were, raiding the place but was unlucky to arrest Shadow. This angered Shadow; so he hatched a plan to get revenge. By kidnapping Sonic's girlfriend for a ransom. Amy Rose. However during her captivity, Shadow begins to feel... something for her. Empathy. And love?
