X-13, otherwise known as Star Michaelis, is the newest mutant weapon the Weapon X Program has come up with. With telepathic and telekinetic abilities and the ability to make herself dissolve into atoms and recollect form in a different location, Charles Xavier recruits a rescue team to save the mutant from further harm once he catches wind of the telepathic girl, unaware of her other abilities. She's wounded and scared, as any experiment is.

Logan Howlett is one of the few mutants on the rescue team. When he finds her file laid out on a scientist's desk, he realizes that this rescue mission could be a suicide one instead. A girl who thinks everyone is a threat that can turn your brain inside out? Yeah, that might be an issue.
