But getting this help came at a great cost. Once they're out and free, they realize the head scientist isn't letting them get away that easily. And he doesn't want his lifelong work to be out in the world just yet. So he'll just have to kill his experiments.

Sometimes a person just stumbles onto something that will dramatically change the way we all live. Through good luck or possibly misfortune, they do something that creates a chain reaction resulting in a whole new world or maybe destroying it. Aaron James was such a person. He had great ideals but the end result could NOT have been worse. Aaron was born in a time, before this present time, somewhere in THE PAST, when the World War went badly for the allies and we lost, when the calendar started not with JC, but from the Song dynasty, around one thousand years later. Aaron was born in the late 20's not 1920 AD but 920 AS (After Song). Aaron found a way to go back in time and he changed things, with the noblest of intentions. These changes made a huge difference, the calendar now started with the birth of JC (or pretty close) and the Allies won the Second World War. THE PRESENT time started out better and that is where we are NOW. The trouble is, sometime in our future, it all goes horribly wrong. Aaron is determined to right the wrongs of his past and tries again to fix things, this time THE FUTURE is a whole lot different. It has not happened yet, but it will happen.

White was given to an organization right after she was born, she was a mutant of her own kind, she was known as 72. Growing up from that place until she was five, she never knew anything else except for avoid the needles, avoid the people in white coats and to stay strong. The day she turned five though, was the day everything changed. One kind guard set her free, she felt like a bird, she felt like she could fly and soar through the sky, to forget everything that happened in her past. She did for a while, but of course everything caught up to her. A year passed and White still remembered everything. From the smallest detail of the day. She was only six, on that day, exactly a year after she was able to escape from the Border, the only person that cared for her was killed, she was caught. She was back in bars, and the words that the guard told her still echoed in her mind. "Stay safe, stay alive," her life rules. And the years fly by, and still nothing happened. She was still trapped, caught, tamed. Caught in the act.... Tamed to fight.... Freed from her cage....

***** For the last 15 years of her life experiment 5475 has only known the inside of the cold lab they only ever feed her enough to keep her alive and punish her horribly if she fought back. When they weren't experimenting on her with different chemicals and drugs she was kept her in a cold dark room with only a bed and a toilet. The scientists have been experimenting on her for 15 years they took her from a orphanage when she was 5 years old she was currently 20. She didn't know her name before coming to the lab but everyday since she came before the scientist would start the tests they would say "Experiment 1..Experiment 2" so on and so on she decided that the number would be her name since she would probably never know her own. She would try to maintain a strong expression while they were delivering their tests even though most came with side effects and Intense pain. Sometimes her vision would blur others her nose would pour with blood. She had no idea what the scientists were doing all the tests for but now she has different abilities that she did not want them to find out about. She was afraid if they found out the stuff they put in her was working they would throw her out like trash and find another innocent person to suffer or just kill her. She didn't know what life was like outside the lab and she was scared to leave its all she's ever known. But after a horrible event happens she feels like she can no longer stay. **** Nathan Thompson was a ordinary guy trying to move up the ladder at the accounting firm he was working at the past 6 years while also trying to maintain an active social life with his friends. He felt like something was missing in his life he was the type of guy that loved living in his own bubble but he hoped he would get the promotion he was after then he would feel more fulfilled. If he wanted a adventure he definitely got one the minute his black Honda slammed into the brown skinned woman with pink eyes.

At first I thought I'd pick something a bit out of my comfort zone (so.... NOT SciFi for once...) to expand my horizon, but when I saw a prompt about time travel I was immediately inspired. Please keep in mind, all of this is WIP! The title, cover, and some of the content might change at any time... I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) I might have to revise things a few times as I write. I'm grateful for any feedback and I hope you enjoy :)

Kathleen had been imprisoned for years. She had no idea who they were or why she was there. Every day for years it had been the same thing. No talking or communicating with her captors after the first year she no longer tried. Getting beaten for making any noise at all. They didn't even speak within hearing distance of her. She was given a book and daily exercise but hadn't seen the sun or outside since she was put in her cell. Until that day when it all changed. Aliens existed and she was going somewhere with them, not sure as to where but at least she was out of her cell. She would not go back in one no matter how nice her new 'cage' seemed. Thinking of continuing this as another story with other humans and aliens. Like after Kathleen's abduction.
