After the tragic death of Zara's mother, she is forced to move away and start a new life in the city of Chicago. While figuring out how to adjust to these changes while battling her inner struggles with her past, she'd rather be alone, yet she is forced to step out of her comfort zone over and over again.

Will she find who truly cares about her?

Max is a boy who doesn't care for, or trust, many people. Those who are close to him already are all that matters to him. He sticks with his group, typically being dragged along with his twin brother Anthony. He'd rather not party, socialize, and even be nice to people, but that's all he seems to end up doing with his brother.

How will he feel when the new girl comes along, and gains his interest.
Will he trust her?
Will he stick up for her when times get rough?
