Astoria Aurelia Diggory, formerly Astoria Harper, was warmly welcomed into the Diggory household on November 7th, 1981, just a week after her parent's were murdered by oliver harper, her uncle. Amos and Claire Diggory put their all into ensuring Astoria had a warm upbringing; with their son Cedric being only 2 years above her. when she was pronounced a gryffindor, the family couldnt of been more proud.

Astoria was full of love. her best friend ronald weasley being the main reciever of her adoration outside of her family. though being friends with the boy sinve first year, atoria had yet to meet the members or his family other then his mother and younger sister, ginny. though all the weasleys knew about the girl through rons constant chatter of his pride fror the girl. he would constantly boast about how he was best friends with the girl who was in fourth year, yet taking two sixth year classes.

The death of her parents was known widely by all, it being the reason that the infamous death eater oliver harper had been sentenced to azkaban. astoria was ashamed of what happended with her family. she couldnt fathom how someone could kill their own sister and her family.

Astoria deepy struggled throughout hogwarts, teasing from other students casuing her to have reoccuring nightmares of the horror she witnessed when she was just a baby.

astoria dreamed of a love like in the fairytales. when her bestfriend introduces her to his older brother, astoria cant help but feel a strange sensation rush through her. finding out her two sixth year classes she was taking were shared with the older ginger did not at all help with the unfamilliar feeling within.

maybe her dreams werent as unrealistic as she thought?
