Star Crossed

"W-what are you?" She quivered in fear.
He whispered in a deep tone,"what are you talking about?"
He took a step closer and she took two steps back.
"Don't lie to me again. I saw your basement with everything. I trusted you Ulrich. Is that even your name?"
He slowly shook his head,"no. It's Vector."
"I can't believe you." Caitelyn said,"after everything we've been through together.. I thought you cared for me."
"Caitelyn I do," tears formed in his eyes,"please Caite.. don't look at me like that. I was going to tell you I just..."
"When were you going to, Ulrich? Or Vector.. whatever I call you." Caitelyn sighed,"I knew you were different.. something was off about you. You were too perfect. Was it all a show? Was it all part of your big plan?"
"At first yes.. but-"
"But what?"
Vector held her cheek in his hand,"I fell completely in love with you."
Caitelyn removed his hand,"this isn't love."
He said,"I'm sorry."
"Show me your true self. I want to see you for what you really are."
"Please Caite.."
"Do it. Or I'm leaving." Caitelyn said firmly.
Vector sighed,"fine. You promise you won't go if I do?"
She nodded and crossed her arms.
He shifted into his true form. His skin faded to a pale gray color and small antennas appeared on top of his forehead; and lastly his eyes turned into a glowing magenta.
Caitelyn looked for a moment, unfazed.
"You're not afraid?" He said.
"Leave me and my family alone," she said as she began to leave.
"Wait! You said you wouldn't leave.."
She turned facing him,"I lied. Hurts to be lied to, doesn't it?"
Vector called out to her as she walked away from him,"wait Caitelyn, please!"

Meanwhile in outer space..

"Sir, is it time?"
"Yes. Push the button." Said the commander alien smiling,"earth will finally come to an end, thanks to that boy Vector and the naïve girl."
