The Awakening of Valeria

In the patriarchal town of Grimmerholm, young Valeria is the youngest child in a deeply divided family. Her father, Aldo, is a staunch misogynist, while her mother, Sofia, comes from a lineage of powerful magic-wielders, though her own strength is limited. Valeria's siblings are a mix of personalities: Debíl, the eldest daughter, Andres, Alwar, and Bernadino, the first three of whom are spoiled and prejudiced, while Bonito is kind-hearted and protective of Valeria. The fifth sibling, Bonito, named after Sofia's fair-minded uncle, is Valeria's confidant.

Valeria discovers that she alone possesses the long-lost magic of her mother's lineage. Her powers are hidden from everyone except Sofia and Bonito, who help her research and understand her unique abilities.
