“You all know that girl at school right? The one with no friends but doesn’t care? The girl who listens to obscure indie-rock bands who no one’s heard of? The one who only spends her money on cd’s and band merchandise instead of the most on trend designer labels? Well that’s me, Madison Oliver, 17 years old, relatively tall and often seen in the old music shop on the corner in ripped black skinny jeans and some sort of random coloured t-shirt sporting the logo of one of my favourite bands who most people at school haven’t heard of.”

Meet Madison Oliver, she's 17 and obsessed with music. She's grown up listening to random bands who's she's found by clicking on the wrong YouTube link accidently and she's never minded that people haven’t heard of them. She’s always despised the popular crowd, especially that boy George Shelley who she's had to live next to for all of her life. In her opinion he’s always been a stuck up, egotistical dick, who has awful taste in music and goes around fucking every girl he sees. But what happens when Madison meets George in a surprising circumstance and comes to the realisation that maybe he isn’t so bad after all? Unexpected feelings begin to blossom and for the first time someone gets to the see the real George Shelley, and out of all the people, Madison never thought nor never wanted until now for that person to be her.

*~*~* REWRITTEN AND PUBLISHED AS HUNTINGTON AVENUE ON MY PROFILE *~*~* Zachary West has it all. Near-perfect grades, a kind, loving family, and is a guitar prodigy. Seems like a wonderful life, right? Most good things come with at least one catch, though: He's blind. Following a move from Washington to New York, Zach struggles to fit in with everyone else. Little did he know that high school across the country would be extremely different than back home. He would endure new town, new home, new friends, but also new hardships. Will Zach find a way to fit in with his new surroundings? Then, there's Kelsey Davis, one of the popular girls of the school. She's beautiful, charming, and, of course, she can be a bit questionable. Luckily, there's almost always a side to people that nobody sees. Hanging out with the wrong crowd has gotten to Kelsey's nerves, but she doesn't want to leave her friends. Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore. Will everything change when she notices a unique boy among the crowds who might need a friend? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Disclaimer: This is the very first book that I ever wrote. It was created in the Fall of 2018 by a 15-year-old girl who had no idea how to construct and develop a story. It's still a very precious story to my heart and I will always keep it published here. :) Word Count: ~70,000-75,000
