I always thought I had to be the hero to be recognized,to be noticed,to be loved,I kept trying harder and harder each time but I was wrong.
In the end, I'm their fallen hero. The people who once praised me, now feared me. I suppose I don't know when the narrative began to change, but I think it suits the person they made me to be.
After years of fighting villains and being on my own, it's only now that I see the pain they were in. The pain of being alone and scared of losing. It's only now that I see myself going down that path myself.. the path of pain, loss, disparity and madness. The path that no one can free me from anymore.
