(Kar98k would have a full name going by Karliana Mauser, Karliana from the 'Kar' part of the name, and Mauser from the company that created the gun) (She will be set in the azurlane world before the time of faction splitting up)

It's been 6 years since Karliana Mauser (Kar98k) joined Griffin & Kryuger from the Massegis pass campaign and left her number '35019' in the past. Though still working with the G&K, she has been secretly helping Lae Fritsch who 'invited' her to live with her in the newly rebuilt Falzheim, the clockmaking village. During the rebuilding of the village, Lae Fritsch professes her love towards Karliana, which Kar has known about since the start of rebuilding, and accepts her love.
Though, as fate would have it, an accident happened when Karliana was shopping for groceries in the city near Falzheim village. She saved a young girl's life from a truck whose driver had passed out due to illness and was driving in full speed on the road, at the cost of her own body and core being destroyed on the impact. This devastated Lae Fritsch, sending her down towards depression as she wept for her lover's death.
However, after Karliana's unfortunate demise, her mind was transferred by another deity before she was fully destroyed in the process of the accident. Now she wakes up in a world where warships have been humanized into Kansen or ship girls. Will she be able to continue her life and reunite both factions? or will she face her death once more?

Off the coast of Germany, three kansen sisters sailed in the darkness of the night. All three of them struck with curiosity. Following the trail of anomalous signals, they encountered something - unusual. Something that was not supposed to be there. Something seemingly defying all logic. Among the three sisters, one of them was especially affected by the sheer wonder the anomaly seemed to emanate. Anti-Aircraft frigate FGS Hessen, the third and final ship of the Sachsen-class, is among the most advanced kansen the German Navy has to offer. And yet, her curiosity proved to be her mistake. Accidentally getting too close for comfort to the anomaly, she was subsequently pulled in - resulting in her getting separated from her sisters and stranded in a seemingly familiar, but still foreign world - the world of Azur Lane. Stranded in a world where the concepts of modern naval warfare have been turned upside down, will she adapt by utilizing her technological advantage to the fullest and perhaps find a way home - Or will she sink to the bottom of the ocean, forever abandoned in a world not her own? Disclaimer: This story has been written as a first-timer in the huge domain that is story writing. As such, expect amateur/beginner-typical mistakes in plot and writing, as I still have much to learn/perfect. Update: Greetings! If you read this, it means the story has been completed. In the future, if I have the time, I will use what I have learned to rewrite this story in order to eliminate grammar mistakes, correct (but not completely change) a few plot elements, and completely annihilate all parts where 'script format' is used. It will just be a general cleanup of my writing. Azur Lane belongs to Manjuu.

All other images/audio used in the writing of this story belong to their respective owners (this is my first Azur lane Story, so please be respectful) Humanity had a dream to Explore and conquer the oceans , But that all changed when an unknown enemy appeared known as the "Sirens" humans were pushed out of the Seas by the Sirens advanced weaponry and humanity began to descend into a Dark age. Siren attacks had become frequent enough that humans were on the Brink of annihilation. However one Day humanity found a way to fight back against the other worldly threats, using mysterious objects known as wisdom cubes, the K.A.N.S.E.N. were created from said cubes. With the power of Warships embedded into their bodies, they allowed humanity to fight Back against the Sirens and begin to reclaim what was once lost. But divisions in beliefs on how to deal with the Sirens, threaten to obscure the original threat they came together to fight and turn humanity and its protectors against each other, either caused by siren influence or the actions and beliefs of major nations leaders, or a little bit of both, one thing is for certain. No matter when or where it happens.... War, War never changes. However sometimes all it takes is a small change somewhere, a Flap of the wings of a butterfly, an Action taken, or an Action not taken. The Smallest changes can Alter how history will play out. The Bigger question I would like to Ask... What will be the catalyst that starts the winds of Change THIS time?
